Whether you have a large or small project that is currently on site, it is vital that it is carefully monitored to ensure that it is built to the correct standards and to the specification and within the terms of whatever contract applies.

In our capacity as Expert Witness in legal cases, it has become apparent that all too often, minor details are overlooked at an early stage on site which can lead to major and costly works at a later date to enable the building to be both safe and reduce the level of maintenance required at a later date.

It is true to say that the “devil is in the detail” as all too often it is the minor points missed that create the problems at a later date.  For example whilst as a client you may be all too pleased to see external walls built up rapidly, unless this is done to the correct standards using the correct materials, it can only lead to problems later on.
