Easton Bevins undertake the design and project management of a wide range of commercial, industrial and residential building works.

We have our own in-house architectural design department and can provide a full range of architectural services for building extensions, building renovation and conversion and new build projects.

The practice has assisted developers, local authorities and commercial and private clients. We have the ability within the practice to take a project from initial feasibility stage right through to completion and handover including all or part of the stages in between.

For new build solutions we are able to provide a comprehensive service that spans:

Outline Design

Outline or sketch proposals and approximate estimation of likely construction cost. Initial pre-application discussion with the planning authority etc.

Scheme Design

Design developed to establish spatial arrangement, appearance, materials; preparation of cost estimate and programme advice; planning application, if required.

Detailed Design

Design developed to agreement on type of construction, quality of materials and standard of workmanship; coordination of design work by consultants, specialist contractors and suppliers; applications and negotiations of Building Regulation approval; cost checking.

Production Information

Preparation of drawings, schedules, specification of materials and workmanship in sufficient detail to enable contractors to prepare a tender.

Tender Action

Advise client on potential tenderers and agree tender list; invite tenders from approved contractors, report and advise on tenders submitted.

Contract Planning

Advise on contractor appointment, forms of appropriate building contracts and prepare contract documents for signing where required.

Site Operations

Administer building contract during site operations; inspect progress and quality of works; make periodic financial reports.

Completion

Administer the contract relating to the completion of the works; manage handover of completed project and administer Defects Liability Period.
