Easton Bevins are capable of acting as Project Manager and have done so in the past on numerous projects. There is a relatively simple process that should be applied to any project of any size.
Easton Bevins are committed to ensuring that the client’s requirements are met at all times and the client is kept informed of progress throughout the project. We are experienced in dealing both with our in-house teams and numerous sub consultants ensuring that all members of the project team are kept informed of progress throughout the development.
The Project Management process can be briefly defined as follows: -
- Agree precise specifications for the project – this includes confirmation of client’s requirements, budgets, timescales, etc.
- Plan the project – time scales, the design team, activities, resources and budgets, and ensure that these are reported back to the client.
- Communicate the project plan to the project team – once the project has been confirmed with the client, report back to all members of the team, whether they be in-house or sub consultants.
- Agree and delegate project actions, again this applies both in-house and to sub consultants.
- Manage and communicate with the project team and ensure that all members of the team are aware of their requirements and the timescales to which they are to be completed.
- Review project progress, adjust project plans and inform the project team and others, to include reporting back to the client and ensuring that any alterations are carefully managed within the design and the client is kept informed by means of risk management analysis and the impact of any of the alterations are made clear and distributed amongst all members of the project team.
- Manage the project on site including all negotiations and acting as focal point for all members of the project team, contractor and client.
- Complete project review and report on project performance and ensure that the client is kept informed of the results.
If Easton Bevins can be of assistance to you with your project we are happy to either take on a project from inception, or to join in a project to progress the scheme and manage as appropriate.
