Planned Maintenance Programme - Unearthing Defects

Posted 10 Jan 2017   By Easton Bevins

During a planned maintenance programme inspection, Easton Bevins identified a number of defects.

The Surveyor arranged for an intrusive investigation to determine the cause and obtained a grant from the Government. The Surveyor also dealt with the specialist removal of asbestos and insulation.

What was needed:

  • Reroofing - pitched roofs to include repairs to windows, gutters and lead flashings.
  • Appropriate consents - the specification was written and sent to tender.
  • Works project managed under a JCT Minor Works.
  • Major repairs to damaged and dangerous chimneystacks.

The project was completed on budget and on time.
