Easton Bevins grows team to develop disability adaptations and accessibility services
Posted 20 Jan 2025 By Easton Bevins
As a multidisciplinary property consultancy, Easton Bevins provides a wide range of services to meet clients' many and varied requirements. One of the lesser-known areas we cover is accessibility and disability adaptations.
We have years of experience in this very specialised field, and have acted both directly with the client, as well as through legal assistance or deputies acting on their behalf. We also now have a new building surveyor on our team with particular expertise in this area, Giles Fisher. Having this additional expertise will help ensure we are able to deliver the high standards of service that our clients expect.
Giles Fisher, who joined us in August 2024, is experienced in managing and administering adaptation projects for clients with severe disabilities. He carefully oversees every stage of a project, from helping find a house that might work for the client and their family, through to making sure every last detail is exactly as they expected when they move in. His understanding and careful attention to detail help ensure things run smoothly, and work is completed on time and within budget.
“Giles really understands the importance of listening to and understanding, the needs of his clients,” comments Ben O’Brien, Director of Easton Bevins. “His in-depth knowledge and experience in this field will help us create inspired accessible home environments that positively support independent living.”
Giles adds; “The work that we do really does make a difference to people's lives. Working alongside a team of experts, including architects and quantity surveyors, helps ensure that clients get the best possible service. It is rewarding to be able to create homes that help improve a client’s day-to-day life by allowing them to live as independently as possible.”
