2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE

Following the government’s recent announcement regarding a possible fund to cover cladding works, we may also be able to help you If you manage a building between 11 and 18m.  If this is the case please get in touch, or send us your contact details using the form below,  and we can get back to you as and when appropriate.

There are two key stages involved and we can manage either stage independently, or both as a package.

Stage 1
BSF Application Management

1- Building inspection: If you already have an external wall or EWS1 report, we will assess the contents prior to the application. If not, one of our building surveyors will conduct an external wall inspection to support your application.

2- Outline the works: If you already have a specification and have completed a tender process, we will assess the accuracy of the information OR if a specification has not been produced, we will compile a specification and manage the tender process.

3- Apply for funding: Our building surveying department will assist you with preparing all relevant documents required for the application. We will then submit the documents to the BSF.

4- Application Management: Your assigned surveyor will manage the application process and liaise with DLUHC & Homes England.

5- Funding review and negotiation: Your surveyor will submit the cost to the BSF and engage with their third party consultants to agree a preliminary offer. The surveyor will present the offer to the client or block manager and conclude the agreement.

Stage 2
Project Management

If your application is successful we will manage the project for you.

6- Scope of works: Your surveyor will review all contractor documentation and ensure all technical requirements are in place.

7- Project Team Appointments: Once a contractor has been agreed, we will liaise with them to ensure the relevant pre-construction documentation is complete.

8- Work in Progress: Our project team, consisting of a project manager, building surveyor and quantity surveyor, will regularly be on site to monitor the programme, cost and quality, and will provide regular updates.

9- Work completed: Once all remediation work
has been completed, your project team will sign off the works.
