Qualifications
Mike has extensive experience in residential and commercial property, covering new build, refurbishment, alterations and ongoing management. He has worked with clients ranging from private individuals to developers, authorities and large commercial organisations, providing a broad understanding of both technical and practical aspects of property development.
He has been involved in all stages of the construction and property lifecycle, including measured and topographical surveys, design development, feasibility studies, project management, contract administration, site inspection, condition surveys, planned preventative maintenance programmes and advising clients and professional teams.
Mike is regularly appointed as an Expert Witness by solicitors, companies and private individuals for boundary disputes, land ownership and access matters, development issues and related technical disputes. He has acted for both Claimants and Defendants, and as a Single Joint Expert where appropriate. In recognition of his expertise, he was awarded Expert Witness of the Year at the 2023 Expert Witness Awards.

This experience underpins his work in boundary and land disputes, where detailed technical understanding and clear interpretation of evidence are essential.
Mike has also acted as Party Wall Surveyor on a wide range of projects, working with private homeowners and developers on complex sites, helping to manage risk and ensure projects progress smoothly.
