Apprenticeship Applicants
One way of becoming qualified in surveying is through an apprenticeship, which provides the opportunity to earn at the same time as learning about the surveying profession.
Apprenticeships can be suitable for people of all ages and skill levels including individuals early on in their career, or seeking to upskill in their current role, or who want to transition to a new career entirely.
Easton Bevins offers a number of paid apprenticeship opportunities which include study leave alongside work experience and learning on the job.
Experienced Applicants
We are particularly keen to attract talented, experienced building surveyors and consultants to join our business.
As well as qualified surveyors, we also welcome applications from experienced individuals with previous involvement in relevant construction fields, be that domestic, commercial, practical, or academic.
A good number of our current staff members began their careers working on-site, or in other industries, and their considerable trade knowledge is both relevant and advantageous to our business and our clients.
Graduate Applicants
For a number of years we have sponsored undergraduate and postgraduate students on RICS accredited degrees. We are also pleased to offer work placements to students so that they can gain practical experience alongside their studies.
We are proud to have close links with the University of the West of England (UWE), but welcome interest from students on any RICS accredited course.
We actively support and encourage our staff through their APC and assist with their route to become Chartered. We are proud of our excellent APC pass rate.
Work Experience
We work closely with local schools and communities to offer the opportunity for young people in full time study to spend time within one of the offices shadowing a designated member of staff.
We hope to encourage young people to explore the variety of work building surveying has to offer and contribute to providing worthwhile and informative experience.
