Who we work with

Private individuals

We have carried out numerous disability adaptations, extensions and new build projects for clients, often following an accident or unfortunate incident that results in life-changing injuries that necessitate complex adjustments to meet the needs of the client, and their family.

From suitability assessments, to creating designs for the adaptations, producing detailed costings and overseeing the project, our dedicated experts can fully support any project from inception to final completion.

From interior lifts, to assistive technology for easy building access every detail is considered.

Social landlords

Our experienced team works with councils and social landlords to implement disability adjustments when these are required due to a physical or mental impairment that affects a tenants ability to carry out normal day-to-day activities.

Reconfiguring a person’s living space and incorporating relevant changes to meet their needs, often works out to be more cost-efficient and less disruptive than relocation. A well thought-through disability adjustment often facilitates continued independent living and a better long-term outcome for the individual.

We have a dedicated disability team, experienced in undertaking preacquisition and measured building surveys, as well as conducting suitability assessments of residential properties requiring adaption to accommodate a disabled person.

Our experts can provide all services required to complete the reports, including full assessment of the client’s requirements in association with other appropriate parties.

Our disability and litigation department is able to prepare accommodation and housing reports in accordance with the housing needs of a disabled person. We can also provide accommodation reports for submission as part of a claim.

Stage Two
Architectural Design

We offer a full range of architectural services for adapting, extending and refurbishing residential properties to accommodate the requirements of a disabled person, and potentially their family.

Led by a RIBA qualified architect, our architectural team can prepare a number of outline proposals based on the care and accommodation report, taking into account the case manager/occupational therapist’s comments and guidance.

We can also produce 3D renders of our designs to give an accurate visualisation of the buildings interior and exterior.

At every stage, we ensure that the needs of our clients have been fully considered, and that the end result will meet their requirements.

Our bespoke designs incorporate the latest renewable technologies to help support accessibility and comfort.

Stage Three
Quantity Surveying

Once designs have been finalised, we will obtain all necessary statutory consents in relation to the alterations required to the property.

Then, following receipt of statutory consents, we’ll prepare a cost analysis and detailed specification of works ready to send out to tender.

Once tender submissions have been received, we can analyse these to assist with the selection of a suitable contractor.

Together our qualified experts create bespoke, comfortable living spaces that meet the client’s requirements.
