Grange school refurbishment - Berkshire - Case Study

Project:

Refurbishment of Grange School, a SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) facility.

Location:

Berkshire

In Brief:

The Grange School is an independent, co-educational school in Thatcham, Berkshire providing day placements for children and young people with autism. It offers a nurturing environment where pupils feel supported and safe, and can learn, grow and flourish.

Easton Bevins was contracted to support the school with the refurbishment of its school buildings. The goal was to develop the facility to create a more modern special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) environment. One where both the teachers and the students would be able to thrive.

Our role included the architectural design and preparation of pre-contract documents. We also managed the tender process and oversaw the delivery of the works, including monitoring the quality of the works and keeping a close eye on the budget.

The project was successfully completed and the school managers are delighted with the end result. The school is now open and has welcomed its first year of students.
